Hi! I’m Mindy!

Hello! My name is Mindy Kincade and I am a professional portrait photographer born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. My husband Tom and I have three incredible daughters (and now three cutie pie grand-babies). All throughout my daughter’s lives I have been inspired to pick up my camera and capture precious moments of their lives as they happened. Little did I know that would be the beginnings of my photography career. Trying to capture the absolute best images of my girls, I pushed myself to learn my camera and editing. 

I come from a large family. I am the second oldest of seven kids. Being part of a large family is amazing, but getting a personal portrait was rare to say the least. My senior year was the second time I had professional portraits of only me, the first was my 1st birthday. I laugh when I look back at those senior portraits. I seemed very posed and completely wooden. In one image, I’m actually standing in front of the photographer's red corvette. Hilarious! I didn’t even have my drivers license. Reflecting on that unauthentic experience is what drives me today to create a very different experience for my clients. 

My goal is to create a warm, friendly, fun experience where I can capture expressive images that tell personal stories and redefine traditional portraiture. My hope is to inspire my clients to feel great and see themselves in a new light.

I LOVE THIS JOB!! I look forward to each and every session with a fresh eye always looking to improve upon what I have done before. I obsess over details and always try to find new techniques to keep my images fresh and interesting.

The camera has helped me to see life in a different way. God creates each day to be unique. The way the light changes, seasons, wind, weather, time of day, old things and new things combine to create the perfect backdrop to feature God’s most perfect work of all: YOU! That is why I love my job!
